FISHING UPDATE
Even though the ocean salmon season is closed, we will still be able to fish for Salmon in the river systems.
Summer is half way over and my fishing season has been going very well in Alaska. I have been very busy and am really enjoying my experience running a charter boat out of Sitka, Alaska. Running a charter boat for King Fisher Charters has been a positive and fulfilling opportunity for me, and am planning to come back next season. We have been catching everything from King Salmon, Coho Salmon, Sea Bass, Halibut and Yellow Eye. I will be back the beginning of September and am booking days for our river trips now. I will fish: Umpqua River, Coos River, Sixes, Chetco, Elk and Siuslaw Rivers.
